Sports 1975-76

While learning airbrush technique, I not only wanted to create a photographic resemblance of crowds but also I wanted to reproduce the palpable energy that emanates from the crowds in the background of sport images from magazines. This feast of sparkling energy drives and feeds not only the athlete but the audience as well, and it became my central concern while illustrating different sport events from the Montreal Olympics in 1976.
