This body of work was created to confront my fears concerning the current state of affairs in our country. I perceive that our political system is weakened by decisions made that are not always in the best interests of the people governed. Each of my twelve fictional cut-out figures comments on an aspect of our national reality. While creating this body of work, I instinctively let my creative emotions speak to these images in a dance of the twelve betraying apostles that I call “Clowns.”
