China 2005

In the summer of 2005, I participated in a class trip of the Chinese language program at Saint Ann’s School, giving myself a reward after 25 years of teaching art. 15 students and 4 chaperones toured China for one month. China was so overwhelming in all aspects that my photography was a small attempt to understand it all and provide a refuge and comfort during my travels.
